Dr. Brett Berman is a Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Alume Biosciences. He is a cardiologist with board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, a branch of cardiology that specializes in advanced heart failure management and correcting heart rhythm disorders. He received his MD from Chicago Medical School (1998) internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Barnes Jewish Hospital - Washington University in St.Louis, MO (2001), fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease (2004) and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at UC San Diego (2005). Dr. Berman is affiliated with Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, Scripps Mercy Hospital and maintains a private clinical practice focused on cardiovascular care in San Diego.
